When someone's appetite is low, it's more important to focus on "finding ways to get the necessary nutrients in smaller portions" rather than "getting them to eat a lot." If you add too many dishes, some people might feel overwhelmed just by looking at the large meal.

Nutritional value increased while maintaining the same appearance.

You can supplement your energy intake without changing the visible portion size by adding sugar or mayonnaise to omelets, adding salmon flakes or minced chicken, adding tempura batter bits to miso soup, or adding condensed milk to yogurt.

Consume energy and protein together.

Dishes like gyudon (beef bowl), oyakodon (chicken and egg bowl), nikudofu (meat and tofu stew), gratin, and cheeseburgers are good sources of energy and protein. For those who can't eat enough at three meals a day, snacks like pudding, ice cream, and steamed buns can also provide nutrition.
