Do you have worries like these?
- What if I get the size wrong?
- What if the resident doesn't like it?
- How do I explain to the family why I chose it?
Choosing clothing on a resident's behalf is a job with a lot of responsibility for staff.
A physical therapist supports your clothing choices
We ask about the resident's physical condition, daily life and how they are assisted, via LINE and other channels, and think through the choice together with you. You can consult us in the everyday language of care and rehabilitation work.
Staff don't have to carry the decision alone.
We also explain why a piece of clothing suits the resident, which can help when explaining to the family.

Comments from residents and their families
My mother loved the bright floral print at first sight, and when she tried it on it was very easy to wear. She's delighted. (Family of a 98-year-old mother / Front-opening Long-sleeve T-shirt)
Laundry is done at the facility, so we chose new clothes on the condition that they could stand up to washing and the tumble dryer. (Family of a 101-year-old father / Fleece-lined collared cardigan)
They didn't feel tight around the stomach and looked easy to wear. They were also easy to help her put on. (Family of a mother / Easy high-rise pants)
