In the context of elderly care, "loose-fitting trousers" often doesn't simply mean oversized trousers. It refers to trousers that are designed with a comfortable amount of room to facilitate assistance.

Characteristics of "loose-fitting trousers"

  • The rise is generous, so it won't feel too tight even when wearing a disposable diaper.
  • There is enough room to easily put your feet in.
  • The elastic waistband is soft and easy to pull up and down.
  • Soft, stretchy fabric that doesn't constrict the body.

"Larger size" isn't always better.

Trousers that are too large can easily slip down, and the excess fabric may need to be adjusted each time assistance is provided. Caregiving trousers are often designed to be loose-fitting, so your usual size may be sufficient.

We consider not only height and weight, but also your current physical condition, how you live in the facility, and how you receive care, to determine the appropriate size together.
