- Using diapers (rehabilitation pants) → adds volume around the buttocks.
- Swelling is common → Hands, feet, and torso tend to swell easily.
- To make dressing assistance easier → Having more room makes it easier to put on sleeves.
- Contracture present → There needs to be some slack to make it easier to pull out the arm.
Size guide
If you normally wear a 3L, a 4L with diapers is a good guideline, and a 4L-5L with swelling is a good guideline. If you normally wear a 4L, a 5L with diapers is a good guideline, and a 5L-6L with swelling is a good guideline. Choosing stretchy material and an elastic waistband will allow you to wear larger sizes comfortably.
