How to determine
The basic rule is to check the tumble dryer (OK) mark on the care label. Polyester, cotton blends, and acrylic are relatively tumble dryable, while wool, silk, and rayon require caution. Setagaya Care offers a wide selection of tumble-dryer-safe clothing designed for use in care facilities.
"Previously, we were troubled by complaints from facilities that the clothes would shrink in the dryer. Since switching to Setagaya Caregiving clothes, those kinds of problems have completely disappeared." (From a customer's testimonial)
